Valentine's Day Tablescape
Pro Valentine's Day deste ano me animei de criar uma tablescape mais elaborada! Fui até o SF Flower Market escolher as flores para montar meu primeiro arranjo usando um flower frog, inspirada na técnica da Ikebana (arte japonesa de arranjos florais). Aproveitei o que já tinha em casa e foi a ocasião perfeita para estrear minhas taças da Maison Balzac. Como toque final, preparei morangos cobertos com chocolate em forma de coração e voilà! Esse é o resultado.
For this year's Valentine's Day, I decided to create a more elaborate tablescape! I headed to the SF Flower Market to pick out flowers for assembling my first arrangement using a flower frog, inspired by the Ikebana technique (the Japanese art of floral arrangements). I made use of what I already had at home, and it was the perfect occasion to use my new Maison Balzac glasses. As a final touch, I prepared heart-shaped chocolate-covered strawberries, and voilà! This is the result.
